APSS, a commercial design and fit specialist based in Lincolnshire, recently completed a £3m refurbishment of Bainland Lodge Retreats’ main building. This project involved creating a luxury private dining area and games lounge. APSS achieved this by transforming an existing area, designing and installing a mezzanine floor, and constructing new walls, floors, and ceilings.
The private dining area, called ‘The Garden Room’, is a bespoke space with a double-height ceiling and large external glass walls. Guests can enjoy the luxury of this space with acoustic partition walls installed to ensure privacy. The room features a new copper servery station, a 24-person dining table, and a credenza media unit. The games lounge was designed with acoustics in mind, with a pool table and an interactive dartboard. The snug was installed with traditional Georgian-style panelling, a media unit, and upholstered designer furniture, creating another space for guests to relax.
Senior Project Manager, John Bysouth, commented, “APSS was able to install an acoustic wall to significantly reduce the noise of any works going on so that Bainland customers would hardly notice we were there.” Working closely with Bainland Lodge Retreats, APSS delivered a luxury dining and entertainment environment for customers to create unforgettable experiences with friends and family. Finance and Operations Director from Bainland, Nick Rouse said, “They provided expertise and sound advice on how to move the project forward and delivered a successful stunning final product. These guys are professionals that’s why we have engaged them on other major projects at Bainland for completion in 2024.”
Overall, APSS created a luxurious private dining area and games lounge for guests at Bainland Lodge Retreats as part of a successful £3m refurbishment project.
