Wizu Workspace, an innovator in delivering engaging and adaptable workspaces throughout Northern England, has recently disclosed the launch of its tenth location, Portland House, in the centre of Newcastle. This expansion is a significant milestone in Wizu’s ongoing growth and expansion strategy, with the organisation already holding up to 250,000 square feet of workspace. The facility offers a total of 60,000 sq ft of office space, including standard office leases and adaptable workspaces, capable of accommodating a wide range of businesses, from one-person start-ups to well-established corporations requiring more than a hundred workstations.
The new location is the product of a joint venture between the landlords, Oliver Holland and James Keegan, who partnered with Wizu to bring the new facility to fruition. At Portland House, firms have access to a broad range of workspace solutions, including co-working areas, personal offices, and state-of-the-art conference rooms. Furthermore, the location features the latest technology platforms, such as seamless access control, conference room scheduling, advanced video conferencing amenities, and iPad-controlled coffee machines.
Tom Almas, CEO of Wizu Workspace, stated, “We understood that the demand for serviced offices in Newcastle has consistently outpaced supply, owing to inadequate high-quality adaptable workspaces. We chose this stunning new location as it embodies our signature style, beautifully restored and modernised heritage architecture in a prime location. As firms continue to adapt to new hybrid work demands, Portland House serves as a compelling tool for attracting employees back to the office, offering an inspiring and collaborative environment, complemented by top-notch onsite amenities.”
Portland House is planned to launch in November 2023, and the workspace is presently 20% pre-let, indicating the strong demand for high-quality adaptable workspaces in Newcastle.
