Clockwise, a flexible workplace provider, has introduced its first-ever virtual office space, the Clockwise Campus, which positions Clockwise at the forefront of the evolution of the office industry. The rise in popularity of flexible workspaces and the accelerated pace of technological advancements have transformed traditional working patterns, with remote working becoming more prevalent. However, remote working has led to challenges related to lack of community and loneliness in workplaces. Microsoft predicts that 51% of Gen Z individuals will be working in the metaverse to some extent by 2024.
The Clockwise Campus will provide a digital platform for members and public to connect, collaborate and interact in various spaces, including meeting rooms, dedicated desks, breakout spaces, call zones and a contemplation room, among others. Furthermore, the amphitheatre space will host programmes for up to 50 guests at a time, ranging from industry experts and thought leaders discussing topics on Social, Wellbeing, and Professional, and Personal Development. Additionally, Clockwise members can speak about their business success and offer their expertise. The Clockwise Campus is designed by MoreySmith, Clockwise’s longstanding architecture and design studio collaborator. The virtual space aims to offer an improved experience of the traditional physical workspace by incorporating everything that Clockwise is well-known for, from a robust focus on wellbeing to varied spaces and stimulating design to enhance productivity.
Alexandra Livesey, COO of Clockwise, said: “We are so excited to finally open the doors of our Clockwise Campus, the first-ever workspace in the metaverse. We are looking forward to hosting an exciting program of events focused on our three event pillars: Social, Wellbeing, and Personal and Professional Development. Launching virtual space is a fantastic opportunity for Clockwise to explore future ways of working that are complementary to our physical spaces while we continue to grow significantly as a business, increasing our number of locations by 500% and expanding into mainland Europe.”
