Ellie was developed to cater to document-heavy and data-filled industries like real estate, utilising automated processes and machine learning. By harnessing large language models, the tool has the potential to review vast amounts of information that currently require time-consuming manual review. The company has gained almost 10 major real estate clients, including Hamptons, after completing its initial pilot. The firm was established in January 2023 by Johnny Morris and Chief Operating Officer Dr Kate Jarvis, a language model expert with a PhD in Linguistics and more than a decade of experience in bringing machine learning-powered products to market.
The pre-seed investment round was co-led by Anthemis’ Female Innovators Lab Fund and Seedcamp, with participation from Ascension Ventures Ltd, Concrete VC, Love Ventures, Sie Ventures, and Twin Path Ventures. Fifth Dimension AI aims to the redefine the world of work, beginning with the real estate industry. CEO Dr Jarvis believes that Ellie will help remove time-consuming, repetitive, and boring work, allowing professionals to increase their output while leading happier, purposeful lives.
