Norman Bone has been appointed as Non-executive Director to the Board of Sheffield Forgemasters with immediate effect. As an experienced CEO and Chair, he has a proven track record in delivering financial results. He was Chair of aerospace giant Leonardo UK Ltd, overseeing all three UK divisions: electronics, helicopters, and security. With extensive experience in engagement with UK Government, MOD and UK Security agencies, Norman will support the Board in its recapitalisation programme to support UK defence programmes. His background also includes implementing culture change and new working practices within manufacturing operations, drawing from his experience at BAE Systems and global drinks company, Diageo. Janice Munday, who has been with the business since 2016, will be stepping down from her role.
