The Harborough District Council has granted planning permission for the second phase of the Beauchamp Business Park, a new commercial development in Kibworth, Leicestershire. The project is being spearheaded by Clowes Developments, in partnership with IMA Architects, TanRo, Millward Consulting Engineers, Gateley’s Legal, and Postins Project Services, with Philips Sutton and TDBRE as the appointed agents for the scheme.
Construction on the first phase commenced in September 2023, with 80% of the units sold or under offer within two months of availability for enquiries. Phase Two will see the creation of three new commercial/industrial buildings for B1 and B2 use class, scheduled to begin construction in Summer 2024 and expected to be completed in early 2025. Upon completion, Beauchamp Business Park will offer a range of freehold and leasehold industrial units, ranging from 1,270 sq ft to 10,085 sq ft.
Clowes Developments have retained IMA Architects for all architectural services and as the Principal Designer for the scheme. Paul Turner, construction director at Clowes Developments, expresses their commitment to enhancing the local economy and promoting future growth by developing sites that meet the needs of growing businesses, citing the exceptional demand for phase one as a testament to the strength of the real estate market in Leicestershire.
Ben Hall, director at IMA Architects, shares their pleasure in the approval of planning for Phase Two, emphasizing the fulfillment of demand for industrial space in the local area and the positive impact Beauchamp Business Park will have on the local economy.
