Regal Food Products Group Plc has acquired Yorkshire-based Love Handmade Cakes for an undisclosed sum, just two years after the group acquired Just Desserts Yorkshire. Love Handmade Cakes, previously known as Exquisite Handmade Cakes, specializes in baking over 100 cakes, traybakes, and muffins for food service wholesalers and coffee shops.
The acquisition will enhance Regal’s portfolio of bakery brands and create opportunities for expansion and growth in the food service and desserts division. Regal Food Products Group plc CEO, Younis Chaudhry, emphasizes the importance of long-term growth through acquisition and the group’s commitment to offering quality bakery products.
He highlights the potential for new product development and servicing customers on all business levels. The acquisition reinforces the group’s focus on quality and its commitment to meeting the growing demand for dessert ranges.
Despite the acquisition, Love Handmade Cakes will continue to operate as an independent business while benefitting from the resources and investments of the Regal Food Products Group plc.
