The Clubhouse Leaders offers a unique format that combines golf and networking in a competitive, season-long tournament. Through nine rounds of golf throughout the 2024 season, individuals have the opportunity to build and enhance their business contacts. This season-long experience allows for deeper relationship building than one-off events.
The team behind Clubhouse Leaders consists of Stephen and Nikki Foster, who each have over two decades of experience building their business networks in the region. Stephen works as the Corporate Development Director for Squire Patton Boggs, while Nikki is the Sales and Partnerships Director for Spike, a digital marketing agency based in Leeds.
Stephen and Nikki Foster shared their expertise in networking and golf to create a membership network that encourages business deals within the Yorkshire community. Their aim is to deliver professional yet relaxed events to facilitate relationship building.
Clubhouse Leaders will create a Member Directory, which will provide full details of all members to share within the community. The team will facilitate direct introductions where requested and can put members in teams with specific individuals they find interesting. The goal is to foster natural relationships in a relaxed environment without any forced business pitches.
The first event of the season is on 10th April at Selby Golf Club, and membership applications are open. The response has been overwhelming, with over 20 members already signed up. The Clubhouse Leaders team is optimistic for a large community in Yorkshire that inspires other regional Clubhouse Leaders franchises.
Stephen Foster expressed his passion for golf and how it has supported the growth of his own network, providing five hours of uninterrupted time with senior business decision makers. The Clubhouse Leaders’ format allows individuals to harness the power of golf to create lasting business relationships.
