Caddick, the privately-owned property and construction business, has recently announced the appointment of a new board member and a series of promotions within its developments division. The move comes as the company’s project portfolio expands and it ventures into new regions.
Helen Gardner, Group Legal Director, has been appointed to the operations board of the developments business. She will also continue to lead the organization’s legal team. Based at the Group’s Yorkshire headquarters, Gardner will be responsible for implementing a cohesive, national legal and governance strategy for Caddick, focusing on streamlining processes across the businesses.
Alistair Smith has also been promoted to Director, with a focus on enhancing Caddick’s industrial and logistics pipeline. His role involves overseeing projects from inception to delivery on site, contributing to the growth of the company’s development pipeline.
At the same time, Tom Park has been promoted to Associate Development Director, while Ryan Lewis has been promoted to Associate Director. Park will concentrate on expanding Caddick’s existing industrial and logistics portfolio across the North West and Midlands. Meanwhile, Lewis will lead the project management and technical leadership functions across the portfolio, emphasizing the importance of the region within the business.
David Baker-Brook has also been promoted to Associate Director, leading on the promotion of new and existing sites across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. With a background in sustainability, he will play a key role in ensuring that Caddick’s developments prioritize sustainability.
Myles Hartley, Managing Director of Caddick Developments, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s achievements, highlighting the approval of the final phase of the SOYO scheme in Leeds and the completion of key industrial and logistics projects. He credited the hard work of the individuals involved and the support of the wider team for the company’s success.
