The Hummingbird Bakery is excited to announce the opening of its latest location on Wardour Street in Soho, London on Wednesday 18 October 2023. The bakery’s newest space, covering an area of 800 sq.ft, will serve a range of items including cupcakes, American pies, cookies, birthday cakes, and Red Velvet ice cream.
To mark the launch, the bakery will offer the first 100 visitors a chance to sample the latest Hummingbird products, including the all-new Black Bottom Cookies and Cupcake Cups that can be customized. The quartet of Hummingbird Bakershop will also be present to entertain visitors.
Simone Tasker, Operations Manager of The Hummingbird Bakery, expressed her joy in returning to Soho. She added that the Bakery is thrilled to showcase their Create your Own cupcake and ice cream station. The guests can enjoy indulgent treats and customize their ice cream, cupcakes, and cookies with a range of frosting and sprinkles.
The new Soho bakery will feature a sleek and modern design similar to other branches, with marbled worktops, wooden floors, neutral colors with accents of gold, curved walls, and incorporation of signature Hummingbird Pink. The team of expert bakers and cake decorators will assist guests in customizing their treats and celebration cakes at the Create Your Own Station.
In celebration of the Soho launch, the Affogato menu will be extended to S’morogato, which includes red velvet ice cream over either coffee or hot chocolate with marshmallows and cookie crunch. New products on the menu are Black Bottom Frosted Cookies and the customisable Cupcake Cup.
The Hummingbird Bakery’s charity partner, Terrence Higgins Trust, UK’s leading HIV and Sexual Health Charity, will be at the opening and collecting for the cause. It is worth noting that the brand is recognised for its hand-baked daily menu, including a vegan range and a made without gluten collection.
