Hessle-based logistics firm, Neill & Brown, has recently appointed three new directors to drive its next phase of growth. The company’s long-standing employee, Stuart Dean, has been promoted to the role of portable movements operations director and will now be serving on the board. Joining him are Paul Allon and Dominic Yeardley, who have been appointed as the finance director and commercial director, respectively. With their extensive experience in their respective fields, these new additions are expected to have a significant impact on Neill & Brown’s expansion plans.
The three directors will work alongside CEO Peter Brown, MD Colin Moody, and logistics director Carl Andrew. Notably, Ian Halder, the finance director, is retiring after 13 successful years with the company.
Peter Brown expressed his confidence in the newly appointed directors, stating that they will contribute positively to Neill & Brown’s future journey. He further highlighted that these appointments are part of a broader succession strategy aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the UK, European, and worldwide logistics industry, based in the Humber region.

Stuart Dean, who has been with the company for 18 years, possesses a wealth of knowledge in European abnormal load distribution and the export of mobile buildings within the Portable Movements Department.
Dominic Yeardley brings over 30 years of experience in UK and European logistics, contributing to his comprehensive understanding of the industry.
Paul Allon, with over 15 years of experience in the manufacturing and construction sectors, has led mergers and acquisitions and has been instrumental in transforming IT and HR functions in various companies. Expressing his enthusiasm, Paul Allon expressed his excitement about collaborating with the senior team at Neill & Brown. He aims to build on the company’s remarkable history and reputation, extending from the Humber region across the globe, to foster further growth in the upcoming years.
Founded in 1917 in Hull, Neill & Brown currently operates strategic sites in the Humber region with a dedicated workforce of nearly 150 employees.
