UK start-up Vector has secured £600,000 investment to launch its retail media platform, designed to enhance and amplify brands by making the most of Amazon’s ecosystem. Co-founded by Rupert Staines and Dan Brown, Vector employs advanced advertising technologies, including artificial intelligence, to optimise its services. The company partners with key marTech providers, such as Skai, Perpetua and the Carpio agency, to help brands capitalise on Amazon’s first-party purchasing data, increase sales and drive targeted marketing and advertising campaigns. Vector’s services are divided into two core areas: Amazon Audience Media and Marketplace Management. The company has already assisted seven brands in fully utilising Amazon’s potential, while launching with commercial partners, including Passion Digital, Active International and TMWI. Vector CEO, Rupert Staines, highlights the benefits of embracing Amazon’s ecosystem given the upcoming deprecation of third-party cookies. He explained, “We’ve launched Vector to unlock the full value of Amazon and the power of retail marketing for brands and their agencies… As every penny we are paid contributes to a more sustainable future.”
Chris Phillips, CEO at TMWi, welcomed the partnership with Vector, stating, “It further enables us to embrace the digital revolution, combining unrivalled expertise with an important purpose-driven message and action.”
