SBM Glazing, a manufacturer and installer of aluminium and PVC doors and windows located in Buckinghamshire, is preparing to unveil a new showroom and warehouse in High Wycombe thanks to a “seven-figure funding package” from HSBC UK. The new site, which spans 11,365 sq ft, will allow SBM Glazing to expand its operations, increase its production capacity, and exhibit more products to customers nationwide. The opening of the new location will usher in five new jobs for the local economy. SBM Glazing’s Director, Guljar Singh, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, “This new site will allow us to continue supporting communities in Buckinghamshire and beyond, as we start to make our plans for growth a reality.”
Amit Tomar, Relationship Manager at HSBC UK, commented on the decision to provide funding, noting that the demand for new doors and windows has increased substantially in recent years. Tomar believes that SBM Glazing’s funding will help to meet this demand by supporting both homeowners and commercial property owners in their transition to energy-efficient window and door systems. Research conducted by the Energy Saving Trust supports the move to energy-efficient windows, stating that upgrading single-glazed windows with A++-rated double-glazed windows can save households approximately £235 per annum and 405 kg of carbon dioxide emissions.
SBM Glazing is a window and door company with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and installation services for domestic and commercial properties. The company’s range of products includes modern bi-folding doors, specialist windows for historic properties, and glass divisions for office spaces. SBM Glazing has transferred all its business banking to HSBC UK in lieu of the funding package, and the new site opening is expected to take place imminently.
