Switalskis, a reputable law firm, has recently appointed Joanna Ziobro as a clinical negligence paralegal, who will be based in its London office. Joanna was a qualified lawyer in Poland and is currently pursuing her legal qualification in England and Wales. She has seven years of clinical negligence experience working for national law firms. Joanna will provide support to clients who speak Polish as their first language and offer assistance on cases such as missed or wrongful diagnosis, fatal claims, including stillbirths and neonatal deaths.
In August 2022, Switalskis launched its London branch, which is led by David Thomas and supported by solicitors Clare Gooch and Chantelle Cooper. Joanna previously worked with David Thomas, where she managed the Polish clinical negligence department and assisted on complex claims.
According to Joanna, “making even a small difference can help clients through the most difficult time in their life.” She enjoys working on clinical negligence cases, especially when they involve helping clients who feel intimidated due to a language barrier.
David Thomas considers Joanna asset to the London team and is excited to welcome her on board. The growing clinical negligence team of Switalskis is comprised of 86 professionals who work across offices based in London and Yorkshire.
“We are thrilled to welcome Joanna to our London office. She champions the voices of those who have suffered due to clinical negligence. Joanna will be instrumental in the development of our new clinical negligence offering for Polish speaking clients. We look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly bring to our clinical negligence team and the clients we work with,” says David Thomas.
Switalskis is committed to delivering excellent legal services that meet the unique needs of its clients. The law firm’s clinical negligence team is focused on providing clients with the support and assistance they require during their proceedings.
