Vail Williams, a property consultancy firm, has relocated its Surrey regional office to a modern and high-specification facility in Woking in response to business growth. The new location, Goldvale House, spans 2,275 sq ft on the first floor and provides 50% more space for future expansion. The firm has secured a five-year lease on the centrally located building, which is situated adjacent to a recently completed development and is a five-minute walk from Woking rail station. The building, originally built in 1980 and refurbished in 2020, boasts a contemporary reception area, two lifts, a VRV air conditioning system, shower facilities, energy efficient lighting, cycle storage, and full access raised floors.
Vail Williams worked with Blue Jelly on a bespoke layout of Goldvale House to make it a more flexible workspace. The move was facilitated by legal firm Blake Morgan. Its Surrey Regional Managing Partner, Geoff Fallon said: “The new office includes an extensive desking area, plus a high desk collaboration area, two meeting rooms, a hybrid two/three-person meeting room and pod together with substantial kitchen/break-out area. What we have done at Goldvale House is created a flexible workspace with different areas. It’s very much practising what we preach in terms of how the office environment has changed.”
The move follows the opening of three new regional offices in Thames Valley, London and Bournemouth, reflecting the firm’s expanding service offerings over the past five years. Fallon said, “We will continue to elevate and consolidate this across the region” while emphasizing the need to attract and retain top staff in a welcoming and flexible workplace. Vail Williams now has an EV charger in its car parking provision at Goldvale House, which is in a prominent location at the junction of Church Street West and Forge End.
In conclusion, Vail Williams’ move to the Goldvale House comes as a response to business growth and the desire to secure a modern and flexible workspace. The new location, which is adjacent to a recently completed development, boasts a contemporary reception area, and is a five-minute walk to the train station and 400 apartments. Vail Williams enlisted Blue Jelly for the bespoke layout of the new workspace, and Blake Morgan facilitated the move. The expansion aligns with the firm’s strategic goals of offering expanding service offerings and attracting/retaining top talent in a constructive work environment.
