Yorkshire-based logistics company Expect Distribution has recently acquired Pallet Plus, a well-established transport company located in the Essex region. This strategic move comes as Expect Distribution looks to strengthen its national presence in the industry.
The acquisition of Pallet Plus, a business with an annual turnover of £10 million and based in Colchester, will not only bolster Expect Distribution’s offerings but also expand its operations in the Southeast. This move solidifies Expect Distribution’s position as a leading logistics and warehousing company throughout the United Kingdom.
Pallet Plus, which has been operating since 2005, is a family-run business that specializes in national final mile distribution of palletized freight to and from the Essex area. As a prominent member of reputable pallet networks such as TPN, UPN, and Palletways, Pallet Plus has established a strong customer base in their vicinity. This acquisition presents an opportunity for Expect Distribution to increase its volume and leverage existing synergies with its current operations over the medium term.
With the inclusion of Pallet Plus, Expect Distribution’s turnover will now exceed £60 million.
