ANS Group, a digital transformation specialist, has unveiled its state-of-the-art tech hub in the heart of Manchester. This new campus represents a significant multimillion-pound investment and will serve as a collaborative space for both employees and customers.
According to Richard Thompson, the CEO of ANS, their mission is to make technology accessible to organizations of all sizes. He highlighted their vision of creating a tech movement that empowers individuals, businesses, and communities to reach their full potential through technology. Thompson emphasized that the new campus embodies the values that ANS stands for, with a focus on putting the customer first, pushing boundaries, staying committed, and getting things done.
In addition to fostering collaboration internally, ANS is actively involving the local community, the tech community, and their customers in the creation of this special space. The company aims to engage with community groups and charity partners by providing bookable spaces, implementing well-being programs, and offering a joint venture educational program. Among their partners are Manchester Children’s Hospital and Manchester and Hide Out Youth Zone.
Furthermore, ANS is committed to supporting schools and the community by donating laptops to improve digital literacy and providing access to technology for those in need.
The ANS tech hub features a modular design and various facilities, including Susan’s Bar, a vibrant social and recreational space, as well as modern classrooms. The campus is also home to ANS’s highly-regarded Training Academy, which has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, and its Apprentice Academy, which has seen the graduation of 250 individuals to date.
Importantly, ANS’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility is incorporated into the design of the tech hub. Input from EDI focus groups has played a significant role, resulting in features such as a lower reception desk, hearing aid loops, accessible bathrooms, and prayer rooms.
To mark the launch of the tech hub, ANS will be joined by renowned peace activist Dr. Erinma Bell, whose expertise will further enhance ANS’s vision of fostering inclusivity and growth, and creating a brighter future for Manchester’s tech landscape.
