Clowes Developments has achieved a significant milestone for its 20-acre Stud Brook Business Park in Castle Donington. The park has been granted reserved matters planning consent for units 2-7, marking a major step forward in its development.

The comprehensive project will encompass a variety of units for sale or lease, including employment, amenity, office, and industrial spaces. These units will range in size from 1,500 to 45,000 sq ft, accompanied by a retail offer. Roe Developments has been selected as the lead contractor for this significant scheme, and construction is set to commence in September. The anticipated completion date is Q3 2024.

James Richards, the development director at Clowes Developments, expressed his excitement about this progress. He stated, “After thorough groundwork preparation, we are delighted to commence the construction of Stud Brook Business Park. The forthcoming steel frames mark the beginning of a new chapter, with occupiers expected to move into their brand-new premises before long.”

To facilitate the lease or sale of these units, NG Chartered Surveyors and FHP Property Consultants have been appointed as the joint agents. Tim Gilbertson of FHP Property Consultants highlighted the unique attributes of Stud Brook Business Park, stating, “This development stands out due to its ability to cater to both buyers and renters, offering units ranging from a few thousand square feet to over 40,000ft². Additionally, its prime location in the East Midlands makes it an exceptionally attractive option for local and mid-sized regional companies.”

Richard Sutton, Managing Director at NG Chartered Surveyors, further emphasized the strong demand for units at Stud Brook. He remarked, “The interest we have received for these units has been remarkably high, which comes as no surprise given Clowes Developments’ reputation for delivering quality projects. With planning permission now granted, we are well-positioned to finalize deals across all available units, ensuring another successful venture for Clowes.”

The development at Stud Brook Business Park represents a valuable opportunity for businesses seeking a prime location complemented by diverse unit options. The project’s progress underscores Clowes Developments’ commitment to creating exceptional opportunities for companies in the region.
