Bailie Group, a family-owned communications company with its headquarters in Leeds, has hired Frank Hayden as a non-executive director as the company tries to speed up its plans for business growth and resilience and aims to make £80 million in sales by 2024.
Frank has an impressive resume and has worked on many important projects. He was in charge of the strategic and operational changes at high-tech companies like Land Rover, BMW, Airbus, BAE Systems, and Rolls-Royce. He led the launch of the BMW Mini, Airbus A380, Eurofighter Typhoon, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and Rolls-Royce engines for the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350.
He is now a consultant and non-executive director, and he has helped more than 300 client leadership teams from all over the world in a wide range of industries. In the past few years, Frank has worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company and done work for the UK Cabinet Office. He led the work to speed up the scaling up of Covid-19 rapid test devices.
