PROSPECT 100, a startup based in the UK, has successfully secured £600,000 ($750,000) in funding to develop a platform that facilitates collaborations between brands and creative talent on a global scale. The pre-seed funding round was co-led by pan European fund BlackWood Ventures, London-based QVentures, and Austrian entrepreneur Ferdinand Ahorner. Additionally, several prominent angel investors, including designer Sean Wotherspoon, Guy Holmes of Gut Records and Snappt, and Adam Perrin of Masomo Games and Marshmallow, also participated in the round.
PROSPECT 100 was founded during the lockdown by Adam Flanagan, Alexandre Daillance, and Harry Beard, with the aim of offering a platform that allows creatives from anywhere in the world to continue their work amidst the pandemic. Since its establishment, PROSPECT 100 has already collaborated with major organizations such as Paramount, Kering, Swatch, and the Ukrainian Government, providing co-creation opportunities.
With the latest injection of investment, PROSPECT 100 will further enhance its platform to become the go-to destination for co-creation. This will enable more brands to engage with creatives from around the globe and focus on expanding their thriving community.
PROSPECT 100’s co-creation platform connects corporates, charities, and public organizations with a vast community of freelance and professional creatives. The platform enables organizations to crowdsource creative designs to drive engagement. Having already partnered with some of the world’s largest organizations and fostering a community of tens of thousands of talented young creatives, PROSPECT 100 aims to become one of the leading platforms for creativity globally.
According to Sean Wotherspoon, the existence of platforms like PROSPECT 100 is crucial as they offer a means to recognize and showcase hidden talent. Meanwhile, 23-year-old co-founder and CEO of PROSPECT 100, Harry Beard, believes that co-creation is an essential aspect of organizational strategies in the coming years, and PROSPECT 100 represents the epitome of co-creation. Alexandre Daillance, another co-founder of PROSPECT 100, expressed excitement about the future prospects of the company, with plans to expand the range of organizations they work with and continuously improve their product.
BlackWood Ventures, one of the leading investors in PROSPECT 100’s funding round, commended the team’s progress over the past three years and expressed confidence in the company’s potential to revolutionize the collaboration between brands and designers. Notably, this is the youngest founding team that both BlackWood and QVentures have supported.
In addition to their ongoing initiatives, PROSPECT 100 recently organized a campaign for amfAR’s NFT collection to raise funds for AIDS research. The global design competition was judged by a renowned panel that included Baz Luhrmann, Jeff Koons, Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Peggy Gou, Natalia Vodianova, J Balvin, Alton Mason, Millinsky, and Francesco Ragazzi.
The successful funding round and support from notable investors place PROSPECT 100 in a strong position to drive innovation in the realm of co-creation and solidify its position as a leader in connecting brands with designers on a global scale.
