Julius Baer International (JBI) has announced the opening of a new office in Newcastle and the appointment of three new hires as part of their regional expansion plan to support growth in the North East. CEO, David Durlacher, stated that “the opening of our new office is a clear signal of our commitment to the region and the UK.” JBI recognizes the significant potential for innovation and inward investment in the North East, which is why they have experienced an increase in high-net-worth business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking investment and wealth management expertise.
JBI’s new office, located on Hood Street in the city center, presents a unique opportunity for clients to benefit from the collaboration of local knowledge and global insight. The new hires will be joining JBI’s current North East team of Simon Patterson and Chris Shearsmith. Aidan Dunstan, obtained from UBS, has accrued over 33 years of experience in wealth management, specializing in working with business owners, entrepreneurs, and families in the North East. He is an expert in ensuring high-net-worth clients achieve their long-term financial objectives.
The team also includes Alison Lander and Stacey Kirby, incorporated from UBS. Alison Lander boasts over 33 years of experience working in the private banking sector in Newcastle, providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth clients. Stacey Kirby brings over two decades of wealth management and private banking encouragement to the Newcastle office as an Assistant Relationship Manager.
David Durlacher added that with these new appointments, “the business has a clear mission to invest across the UK and hire the best talent to provide a market-leading service for our clients. We’re thrilled to have them on board, representing the best of the wealth management industry in the UK.” Despite the current challenging economic environment, JBI is committed to serving and expanding its presence across the UK.
