Law firm Flint Bishop has appointed a new manager to lead the data analytics team at its Derby head office.
Jamie Pearson joins the firm from marketing analysis company Go Inspire, and has also held roles at E.ON and TDX Group.
During his career, he has overseen the full spectrum of debt recovery strategies, from acquisition and credit risk management, to live collections, and end of life warehouse recoveries.
Pearson also has expertise in telecoms, financial services and utilities in both consumer and commercial markets.
The appointment follows the recent hiring of Niall Gilhooley as head of debt services last month.
Pearson said: “I am delighted to be joining Flint Bishop at what is clearly an exciting time for the business. I have been impressed with the firm’s hands-on approach to debt recovery and its already strong in-house data analytics capabilities.
“I am also looking forward to working alongside Niall, who is a leading figure in this industry and an exceptional strategist. We will be applying advanced data science methodology to target our strategies, improve efficiency, and ultimately provide a better experience for the clients.”
Chief executive Qamer Ghafoor added: “I am pleased to welcome Jamie to the firm. His experience in debt insights, predictive modelling, and credit risk strategies are a perfect fit for the firm’s offering and will enable us to develop even greater services for both our debt recovery and wider litigation operations.
“This appointment is just one of many key hires in the pipeline as we continue to invest in our people and the services we deliver to our clients and forms an integral part in achieving our ambitious growth plans as a business.”
