Gordons, a law firm, has enlisted the services of Simon Tingle, an experienced lawyer specialised in business regulation, investigations, and corporate defence, to lead their regulatory practice.
Tingle previously worked at DLA Piper’s Leeds office and has provided advice to various businesses and individuals facing investigation, enforcement and prosecution by a range of regulatory bodies, including the Police and Crown Prosecution Service, Trading Standards, the Environment Agency, and the Health & Safety Executive.
He has a wealth of experience in food, product, and consumer law, and offers compliance advice and training at a board level. Tingle is also a solicitor advocate and has the right to make submissions and represent clients in Crown Courts.
Tingle stated: “We will do this by supporting clients to navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape and assisting them with the increased threat of enforcement and the dramatically increasing consequences of that enforcement.”
Gordons managing partner, Victoria Davey, described Tingle as an ideal fit for the firm, citing his track record for building lasting client relationships and his experience with a broad range of companies in the retail, logistics, food, and drink sectors.
Gordons’ clients include various retailers such as Morrisons, Iceland Foods, and Home Bargains. Gordons looks forward to supporting Tingle and his team to grow the firm’s regulatory practice.
