H&H Land & Estates has appointed a new managing director to drive business growth.
Mark Johnson will take up the role at the County Durham and Cumbria company, where he will work to execute its strategic plan, while also managing the day-to-day running.
Johnson has previously worked as head of strategy and policy at the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership, and head of site for major projects at BAE Systems.
He has experience in programme and project management, capital investment prioritisation, planning and delivery.
H&H Land & Estates works within property, lettings and land and has specific expertise in the rural sectors.
Johnson said: “It is a huge honour and privilege to join such a fantastic business and build on the solid foundations laid down by my predecessor. The rural sector in the North of England is strong and incredibly well positioned to ensure the continued growth of the business and the group.
“I am already hugely impressed with the incredibly talented team who advise and help a diverse range of clients realise their goals and ambitions. It’s great to see the breadth of experience and a clear investment in the future of the business through its graduates and apprentices.
“I can’t describe how excited and energised I am to join the company and I look forward to engaging with, and learning more, as I start my new role.”
H&H Group chief executive Richard Rankin said: “The management team at H&H Land & Estates has built a great platform for the next chapter of growth. They continually evolve and embrace the frequent changes within the industry, and I know Mark understands our vision to help us to continue to achieve this.
“He is focussed on supporting and encouraging the team to ensure our clients receive the best advice to drive their own businesses forward and provide security for the next generation.”
