The company said it had made a “significant investment,” and renovations at 8 Princes Parade, where it has been for more than 20 years, were just finished.
The full renovation includes new spaces for collaboration to support hybrid working, client facilities, and a refreshed interior to go with the views of the River Mersey.
There are more than 140 professionals working in the Liverpool office, including three partners and seven directors.
KPMG’s Liverpool office has also promoted seven senior employees.
Carla Kennaugh was made a partner in the business’s most recent round of promotions. For more than 20 years, she has audited publicly traded companies, privately owned businesses, and subsidiaries of multinational companies.
Mark Booth, who is in charge of KPMG’s corporate finance team in Liverpool, has been promoted to managing director in the firm’s deal advisory practise.
Booth has worked in corporate finance at KPMG for more than 25 years. Most recently, he was in charge of a team that helped clients in Merseyside, Chester, Warrington, and North Wales.
Pete Short, Dan Wright, and Jaini Shah have all been made audit directors.
Lucy Titchner is now the tax director for KPMG’s Liverpool transfer pricing team, and Zealah Bindley is now a director in the consulting team.
The company said that these latest internal promotions come after a successful effort to hire people from the outside. KPMG is continuing to invest in its Liverpool team and the local market, so it is making moves like this.
Jennifer Lee, senior partner for KPMG in Liverpool, said: “Investing in both our talent and offices reflects our long-term commitment to the Liverpool City Region. We are passionate about this city and providing exceptional service to the region’s expansive business community.
“Our latest promotions strengthen the broad range of services we offer to local businesses including audit, tax, consulting and deal advisory. Local businesses need support they can trust to navigate a fresh spell of economic uncertainty, build resilience, and try to take advantage of opportunities within their markets.”
She added: “A revamped office space will help us to attract, retain and develop the best talent. As well as a raft of internal promotions following a successful external recruitment drive, we’re growing our teams at all levels and are keen to continue to grow. We want to attract the best talent in the market and are looking for people who share our vision and values.”
