Bodo, the sustainable same-day delivery service utilized by UK eCommerce brands, is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with Packfleet, a technologically driven, all-electric courier. The primary objective of this collaboration is to expand eco-friendly deliveries throughout London.
Bodo proudly represents a diverse portfolio of over 50 brands, including SURI, COAT, TRIP CBD, HeyHarper, PeachyDen, and FreeSoul. By offering fast, flexible, and eco-friendly delivery options, Bodo operates cutting-edge warehouses located in central London that are powered by solar energy. Additionally, Bodo utilizes eco-packaging to minimize its environmental impact.
A key aspect of Bodo’s mission is to actively collaborate with like-minded, sustainability-driven brands, such as SURI and COAT, both of which are B Corps. The purpose of this collaboration is to promote ethical supply chain practices. Similarly, Packfleet, also a B Corp, plays a vital role in advancing carbon-neutral deliveries across London. Their 100% electric fleet is charged by renewable energy and is guided by advanced routing technology.
Together, Bodo and Packfleet are spearheading a more environmentally responsible approach to delivery services, particularly in a time when the capital is plagued by unprecedented levels of air pollution. With Packfleet now facilitating deliveries for Bodo customers within the M25, this collaboration is making eco-friendly deliveries more accessible for London-based brands, while maintaining leading reliability.
Since the inception of their collaboration in May 2023, nearly 98% of parcels have been delivered on the first attempt, with no instances of damage during transit. This impressive success rate not only reduces waste but also minimizes the need for resource-intensive redeliveries.
Both Bodo Co-Founder Jack Green (formerly of Deliveroo) and Packfleet Co-Founder Tristan Thomas (previously with Monzo) are alumni of successful British tech start-ups. They share a common vision to revolutionize the logistics industry through the implementation of technology and infrastructure.
“By partnering with Packfleet, a market-leading sustainable courier, we are furthering our progress in decarbonizing the eCommerce supply chain. Packfleet is instrumental in debunking the notion that speed and convenience must come at an environmental cost,” stated Jack Green, Co-Founder of Bodo.
Tristan Thomas, Co-Founder of Packfleet, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “We are thrilled to join forces with Bodo in our shared mission to provide sustainable delivery solutions. Through our 100% electric fleet and Bodo’s commitment to eco-friendly warehouses and packaging, we are offering a carbon-neutral end-to-end delivery experience to some of London’s most exciting brands.”
