KPMG, one of the most respected names in the Northern Tech scene, has welcomed Ed Prior to their team. Prior, previously of GP Bullhound where he held various roles, including investment banker and vice president, has joined KPMG as associate director in the North West corporate finance team. His main responsibility will be to lead and advise tech businesses.
As one of his first tasks at KPMG, Prior will be speaking at the Tech Barometer event on September 12th, as well as TechBlast’s FUEL Manchester on September 20th.
Prior expressed his excitement in joining KPMG, recognizing the importance of providing specialized advice and support to founders in different regions. Another significant role for Prior will be speaking at TechBlast’s inaugural FUEL Manchester event. Prior will participate in the funding panel alongside other industry leaders.
Prior will also be speaking at the 4th Tech Barometer event, organized by tech specialist Fairmont Recruitment and BusinessCloud, to discuss the evolving trends in tech and recruitment. Journalist Chris Maguire will be hosting the event, which features a lineup of notable speakers including Martin Bryant, founder of UK startup newsletter PreSeed Now, and Tom Eggleston, CEO of ProofID. Other speakers include Jennifer Atkinson, former CEO of ITC Travel Group, and representatives from Manchester Angels Network, InnovateHer, and Fairmont Recruitment.
