Shambrook’s responsibility will lie with the restructuring team within consulting. With 18 years of experience in restructuring, he has led several advisory, rescue, turnaround, and formal restructuring projects. Previously, Shambrook was a partner at FRP, wherein he significantly contributed to the development of the restructuring and advisory teams. He brings in vast experience helping businesses overcome financial and operational difficulties, working with various stakeholders like management teams, corporates, investors, banks, lenders, debt funds, hedge funds, across industries and jurisdictions. Furthermore, he has sector-specific knowledge of real estate, financial services, construction, manufacturing, and care. Additionally, Shambrook has had secondments at Lloyds Bank and Santander, managing distressed customer portfolios, including several high-value corporate and leveraged finance deals.
At RSM, Shambrook’s main objective is to bolster the firm’s corporate restructuring practice and enhance its offering to upper mid-market businesses. Shambrook is entrusted with building on relationships with banks, lenders, and funds. Shambrook is enthusiastic about joining the RSM team, leveraging his expertise to help more clients through RSM’s value-add services midst the tough economic surroundings that pose challenges for businesses of all scales and across various industries.
