Shorts has promoted Alicia Williams to the position of Genus director. Since joining Shorts in 2016 as an accounts senior, Alicia has steadily advanced through the company, holding various roles such as client financial controller and finance system/app integrator. Her most recent roles include client FD and digital improvement lead.
Her progression to director reflects the active role she has played in the development of Shorts’ Genus, management information offering. Partner Malcolm Pope noted, “Alicia is recognized as a leader within Shorts and the wider UK accounting community. She has been instrumental in helping our clients improve efficiencies and opportunities through the introduction of software solutions and has been heavily involved in the development of AI and data analytics at Shorts.”
