Led by partner Eamon Fox, the Leeds office agency team successfully leased 15,500 sq ft of Grade A office space at 26 Whitehall Road. Mott MacDonald, an engineering, management, and development consultancy, secured a 10-year lease for the fifth floor of the building, owned by Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Fox, who provided advice to Credit Suisse Asset Management, expressed the significance of this deal, highlighting that 26 Whitehall Road is one of the city’s finest office buildings. The building already houses prominent tenants such as Yorkshire Post Newspapers, International Personal Finance (IPF), Engie (formerly GDF Suez), and Sky. These tenants attest to the quality of 26 Whitehall Road, which offers low operational costs, advanced technology, exceptional design, and superb office space. Additionally, the building is highly energy efficient and has recently undergone refurbishment.
This transaction, one of the largest in the past three months, not only underscores the strength of the Leeds office market but also demonstrates its resilience in the challenging economic climate.
