The takeover of a Guildford-based supplier of cloud-native data management (DataOps) and customer experience analytics has completed.
Founded in 2015, Cardinality has since grown into an international business with about 70 specialists.
By combining with Cardinality, acquirer Elisa Polystar expects to have a stronger data management, AI-driven analytics and automation portfolio.
The acquisition is consistent with Elisa Corporation’s strategy to grow digital services internationally and accelerate development of its telecom software business under Elisa Polystar.
Details of the acquisition were first revealed in July, with Elisa Polystar having now completed the deal.
Anssi Okkonen, chief executive of Elisa Polystar, said: “We are excited to welcome the experts from Cardinality to Elisa Polystar. Cardinality’s skillset enables us to offer more effective data management at scale, allowing operators to fully exploit the opportunities of the cloud.
“In our view, success begins with a flexible data management platform, it is complemented by AI-driven analytics and completed with automation software. Our combined portfolio accomplishes all of this.
“With this transaction, Elisa Polystar is taking tangible steps on our journey to make self-driving networks happen.”
