I-COM, a digital marketing company, has named Ravi Bhalla as its new managing director. Bhalla, who was previously the technical director and a founding member of I-COM, is taking over the role from Mike Blackburn who has been in the position since 2006. As managing director, Bhalla will be working closely with the company’s management team to strengthen the business for all shareholders and focus on client success and growth. Bhalla praised Blackburn’s two decades of service to I-COM while expressing excitement about the new position, saying that he is proud to be taking on this role and is confident that the company will grow from “strength to strength.”
While Blackburn is stepping down as managing director, he is remaining on the board at I-COM as he transitions to eventual retirement. The Manchester-based agency, which was founded in 2004, specializes in digital marketing and web design and has a portfolio of clients across the UK. In 2019, I-COM shifted ownership of a majority shareholding in the agency to an Employee Ownership Trust.
