Bio-D, a green cleaning company, has been awarded the coveted Which? Eco Buy endorsement for their Dishwasher Tablets. The brand, which is the UK’s top manufacturer of vegan, environmentally responsible, and ethically sound cleaning products, scored full marks for the eco-friendliness of the tablets’ ingredients and packaging after rigorous testing. Of all the tested Dishwasher Tablets, only Bio-D claimed the Eco Buy award, leaving behind products from competitors like Smol, Sainsbury’s, Ecover, Splosh, Tesco, and Morrisons.
Lloyd Atkin, the Managing Director at Bio-D, acknowledged that having the endorsement proves the effectiveness of the Dishwasher Tablets while displaying the brand’s environmental standards. Furthermore, he stated that “it gives shoppers the confidence to know that what they are buying not only works, but it’s doing good too.”
The Dishwasher Tablets form just one part of Bio-D’s zero-waste product line and make use of 100% recyclable and biodegradable water-soluble wrappers and cardboard packaging. Due to their reduced size of 12g compared to the standard 20g, there are carbon emission savings in both transportation and production. A single truck of 20g tablets is equal to 5 from Bio-D. This range allows 40% more boxes to be fitted in lorries, making it a more preferred product for consumers.
Which? Eco Buy recognition is given to products that fulfil the organisation’s testing standards and sustainability initiatives with a high mark. Which? is the UK’s biggest consumer organisation, with over 1.3 million supporters and members, making this recognition highly coveted. According to Which?, 73% of consumers believe that an endorsement by the organisation has a significant impact on their choice of products or services.
Bio-D’s products have won numerous commendations for their eco-friendliness, affordability, and practicality, benefiting the environment while providing excellent service satisfaction to its customers.
