Streets Chartered Accountants, a renowned UK accountancy practice ranked among the top 40, has announced the creation of Streets Steele Chartered Certified Accountants. This development comes after the successful merger of the highly acclaimed Bristol-based firm, Steele Financial, with Streets Chartered Accountants.
Ben Steele, now serving as Managing Director of Streets Steele, stated: “In line with the advice we provide our clients, we recognized the need to expand our practice to meet the growing demand. Despite starting Steele Financial just six years ago, we have witnessed significant growth. Our unique approach of operating a truly cloud-based and digital accountancy practice, combined with offering clients a virtual finance office, has made us an appealing choice for numerous entrepreneurs and businesses.”
He continued, “Considering the potential and the necessity to offer a wider range of services, we sought to join forces with a larger practice that could provide support to both us and our clients, now and in the future. We are thrilled to have found that support in Streets Chartered Accountants.”
“We are confident that our clients will benefit from the merger, as the combined firm will now be able to offer an expanded array of services. This includes specialized areas such as corporate and private client tax planning, international advice, and personal financial planning.”
Looking at the impact of the merger on Streets, the firm’s managing partner, Paul Tutin, expressed his excitement, saying: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Steele Financial into the Streets family. Ben and his team, including fellow director Ryan Saward, are an inspiring group that has earned an enviable reputation not just in Bristol, but also in London and beyond. Their forward-thinking approach and innovative use of technology to cater to client needs have been instrumental in their success.”
He added, “Their unique approach has allowed them to build a diverse client base, with particular expertise in the hospitality, food and drink, and media and entertainment sectors. We look forward to collaborating with Ben and his team to enhance and develop a virtual finance office for the entire practice, as well as focusing on furthering our respective sector specializations.”
This recent merger follows another successful union earlier this year with Streets Eadie Young in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and Streets Whittles in Colchester, Essex, at the same time last year. With the addition of Streets Steele in Bristol, we now boast a presence in 23 locations across the country, from Burnley in the north to Brighton in the south.
“While many large firms have shifted to regional models, Streets remains dedicated to serving clients who live, work, and operate businesses in the local area. This local focus lies at the heart of our growth strategy, which includes the potential for additional mergers with likeminded firms. Our aim is to establish ourselves as a top 20 UK practice by 2030.”
In pursuit of our growth goals, we recently opened a new office in Burnley, Lancashire, and are currently engaged in discussions with several other practices for potential future mergers. This dynamic expansion and commitment to local service allow us to provide clients with exceptional support and expertise wherever they may be located.
