TSB has opened applications for its third annual TSB Innovation Labs programme, in collaboration with Fintech Scotland. This programme aims to foster collaboration between TSB and fintechs by partnering with winning fintechs to provide innovative services and money-saving solutions to customers. By expanding its fintech partnership programme, TSB is also contributing to the growth of the UK’s fintech sector.
Successful applicants, ranging from 10 to 20 fintechs, will have the opportunity to develop their offerings under the guidance of TSB business leaders and experts in TSB’s Edinburgh Tech hub. The programme, located at TSB’s Edinburgh Technology Centre, will run until the end of the year and will enable participants to prepare themselves for market.
Previous winners of the programme, ApTap, Snugg Energy, and Lightning Reach, are currently offering utility switching, energy efficiency, and financial hardship services respectively to TSB customers. These partnerships underline TSB’s commitment to providing Money Confidence to its customers.
Aruna Bhalla, Head of Partnerships & Open Banking at TSB, emphasized the benefits of collaborating with Scotland’s fintech ecosystem. With over 200 fintechs and access to top talent from Scottish universities, TSB can strengthen its position in the fintech landscape and enhance customer satisfaction.

This collaboration not only demonstrates TSB’s dedication to fostering fintech collaboration but also contributes to the development of the fintech ecosystem in Scotland and across the UK.
