European technology investor, Amadeus Capital Partners, has named Kelly Richdale as Venture Partner. Richdale, a leader in DeepTech, will assist Amadeus in investment prospects, drawing on her entrepreneurial and executive accomplishments. She has vast sectoral expertise in cyber and quantum security, AI, identity management and blockchain. Furthermore, she has created tech businesses in the DeepTech sector with successful exits. Richdale co-founded biometrics firm, A4Vision, in 2000, and after expanding its solution suite, the company was acquired by Idemia in 2010. She went on to head the Quantum Safe Security business of ID Quantique, obtained by SK Telecom in 2018.
Currently, Richdale is a senior advisor to Alphabet spin-out SandboxAQ and an NED for a Swiss insurance firm, focusing on digital transformation, cyber risk and resilience. She is also a quantum fellow at the World Economic Forum and operates on the scientific advisory board of the University of Geneva on its information security program. In the past, Richdale was a team member of Libra Networks and a member of the Innovation Council of Innosuisse.
