Caspian NDTS, which specializes in structural integrity testing of infrastructure such as lighting columns, signal masts and flood lighting, has made the centre its communications HQ. The company chose Merseyway after outgrowing its previous office in Edgeley. “Our previous office had become too small and when we began looking for somewhere new, we came across Merseyway Innovation Centre, which offered everything we were looking for,” said Ollie Anderson, Managing Director for Caspian NDTS.
EK Automation Systems, which provides automation technology and software to factories, was looking for a northern hub to expand the business. The company’s manufacturing arm is based in Stourbridge in the West Midlands but has clients in the North. “We needed an office that would meet our demands as a software and tech company, and Merseyway Innovation Centre ticks all the boxes,” said Co-founder and Director Ed White.
The Wheelie Good Travel Company, which specializes in inclusive travel for people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community, won the Best Accessible Travel Agent category at the LuxLife Travel and Tourism Awards 2024.
