HW Group, a global staffing company, has announced that it will be opening a new office in Birmingham.
The group is making changes to its interim business to meet the needs of more and more clients.
Mark Snelling will be in charge of the office. He used to be a senior vice president at Protiviti. Before this, he was the head of finance and audit at Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
HW Solutions is a division of HW Global, a global talent acquisition company that offers executive search and interim management services. In the UK, HW Solutions will fill senior and executive-level interim positions.
The interim business, which has been around for more than 15 years, is at the centre of everything HW Global does. It already has clients in the retail, financial, and industrial sectors in the Midlands.
The Birmingham office will be in the city centre Mailbox and will be hiring new people to help it grow. The other businesses in the group also have plans to grow in the Birmingham hub.
HW Group has offices in Manchester, Leeds, and London in the UK. It is still growing its global business, which now serves more than 70 countries. HW Global, HW People, Osmii, and Zebra make up the group.
John Wakeford, founder and partner at HW, said: “As the business continues to grow, the expansion into Birmingham reflects the continued focus we place on our clients and servicing their requirements from across a number of regions.
“The addition of Mark and a team in the Midlands will enable us to continue to deliver the quality bespoke client service we are recognised for in the market. It’s great to have Mark on board, and we look forward to recruiting more talent into the business going forward.
“Our interim management consultants work alongside the executive search team, utilising a combination of market knowledge and in-house research capabilities to source the ideal interim to undertake a business transformation project or help lead an organisation during a period of absence or change.”
Mark Snelling added: “I am delighted to be joining HW Group and am proud to be able to do this in Birmingham. The network of relationships across the group is outstanding and provides a great platform to grow. Offering our clients additional services is at the heart of building deeper partnerships moving forwards. We will be actively growing our office and hiring in the region.“
